Been fishing hard the past few days. Fished Wed at Keweenaw Bay, out for lakers from Van Strattens only managed one nice little coho out in 150' of water as I was pulling up to check my bait. Thought I saw something and he hit around 5-10 ft down, pretty neat.

Went to Lake Gogebic to chase after the moster perch. Didn't find any perch as most have said this year has been really really slow for them, but we found the walleye. We caught 7 sat, mostly in the morning, only 3 keepers though, 1 was so close we threw it back. Fished it this morning thinking we'd get into them again and caught 2 more small ones and then they shut up. Did get to see a 2lb perch though that someone brought into the Maple Ridge where we were staying. Teeter Pig!!!
I'll have pics to follow soon.

Took me long enough here our the pics.

A Keweenaw Bay surprise Coho

This is what we were originally looking for on Gogebic. This guy brought in this fish to Maple Ridge while we were staying there. 2.2lbs

Didn't find the perch but got into these.

And finally a little lunch on Keweenaw Bay
